Education is the key to reduction of poverty across the globe. It broadens the mind and widens the thinking scope thus providing an opportunity to creativity and initiatives. The fund was created in order to assist intelligent students who excelled in their primary school certificate examination but lack adequate funds to cater for their high school education. This fund caters for bright but needy students from poor backgrounds. There are very many students who are not able to pursue secondary education due to lack of school fees. The situation is worse in rural areas. MCBO ensures that these bright disadvantaged students pursue their education. Until this point, we have been able to sponsor 70 children in high school out of which 30 have completed high school. MCBO boasts of 4 graduates from Universities and Colleges and 3 are still in college. We are appealing for more sponsorship.
