Mafanikio and Ngei Development Organization are jointly organizing
a work camp with the teenagers and young people in April 2010.
The main objective of the work camp will be to enable young people
from diverse backgrounds to live and work together on community
projects and activities.
Work camp dates: 12-23rd April 2010
Duration: 2 weeks
Venue: Huruma Estate
Project description
The project is tailored for the persons of the ages 15-20 years
old to participate. We require 20 participants from across the
world.
Activities will include;
Training on life skills
Community work activities e.g. clean ups,
community events, education and development, outings and sports.

August Work Camp: 9th - 21st
Duration: 2 weeks
Venue: Huruma Estate
Project description
This work camp will take place with young people aged 18-25 years
and we will require 10 volunteers across the world. The focus
of activities will be on activities with local children aged 5-12
years respectively.
The activities will include;
Playing activities
Identifying talents
Formulation of talent nurturing programme
Sports and outings
Counselling the abused children
Mentorship
The group will stay together at an appropriate and safe location
within Huruma Estate.
We welcome all the young people willing to participate and give
back to the community while enjoying an intriguing experience.
